Tyga, born Micheal Ray Stevenson on November 19, 1989, in Compton, California, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his catchy club hits and collaborations with big names in hip-hop. He released his first mixtape Young On Probation in 2007, which caught the attention of Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy. Tyga gained widespread fame with his 2011 hit single “Rack City,” which became a platinum-certified anthem and launched him into mainstream success. Signed with Young Money Entertainment, Tyga collaborated with Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj, releasing hits like "Faded" and "Make It Nasty." In 2018, he saw a major comeback with "Taste" featuring Offset, reestablishing his status in hip-hop. Known for his party anthems, he has solidified his place in the genre with a distinctive West Coast vibe.
